The Hanahauʻoli School Professional Development Center proudly announces the return of our Summer Institute led by teachers, for teachers.

The Hanahau'oli Teacher Collaborative:
An Institute for Interdisciplinary Curriculum Design

June 24 through July 5
Weekdays 8:45am-3:00pm
(no class on July 4)

October 17 & November 7: 4:00-5:30pm
Check-in, Troubleshooting & Support Sessions

This 2-week institute includes theory and foundations, hands-on learning experiences, thematic lesson examples and observation, and built-in time for unit design with coaching, all provided by practitioners dedicated to making this a powerful learning experience in order to increase student engagement and deepen learning. 

JK-12 educators from Independent, DOE and Charter schools are welcome, including those in resource/support roles, coaches and administrators. This course may be taken by DOE teachers with a portfolio option to earn (3) PD credits. Click here to download a detailed course description.
