Hosted Conversations
The Professional Development Center hosts conversations for educators, researchers, scholars, and community members around critical topics and issues that are of interest to the Hanahau‘oli School community and community at large. It is an opportunity for participants to step out of their regular routines and join peers to connect, exchange ideas, and find inspiration. Our current series, titled Dialogues: On Our Commitment to Equity, is a free potluck gathering held quarterly in the Professional Development Center for educators to come together and explore ways to combat biases amongst children, peers, and within ourselves. A previous series titled, Perspectives, involved the study and discussion of professional literature to encourage educators to share experiences and learn from one another.
